Web Hosting

Business hosting.

For the website and email your company actually runs on — where an outage costs enquiries, not just pride.

A company website is not a personal site

If a personal blog goes offline for a few hours, it is an inconvenience. If a company website goes offline, enquiries stop arriving, the address printed on your invoices stops resolving, and — when email sits on the same domain — communication can stop entirely.

Business hosting is less about the size of the package and more about what happens operationally: whether anyone notices an outage before you do, whether a restore genuinely works, and whether support can diagnose rather than deflect.

What business hosting adds

Monitoring

Your site is checked continuously from outside our network, so an outage raises an alert to our engineers rather than waiting for a customer to tell you.

Priority support

Business accounts are answered ahead of the general queue, with a defined response expectation rather than best effort.

Tested restores

Backups are only worth what they restore. We verify restores rather than trusting a green tick on a backup report.

Mail authentication

SPF, DKIM and DMARC configured and maintained, because business email that silently lands in spam is worse than email that bounces.

Staging

A safe copy to test changes on, so redesigns and plugin updates never happen directly on the live company site.

Fewer neighbours

Business accounts sit on servers with lower density, so your performance is less affected by whoever else is on the machine.

Who this suits

  • Companies whose website generates enquiries rather than just existing.
  • Businesses running email on their own domain that must be delivered reliably.
  • Agencies hosting client sites who need someone competent behind them.
  • Organisations with compliance requirements around backup and retention.
  • Anyone burned by cheap hosting and now paying for it in downtime.

Business hosting questions

How is this different from your standard hosting?
The platform is the same quality; the difference is density, monitoring, support priority and backup retention. Standard hosting is entirely adequate for a brochure site. Business hosting is for sites where downtime has a cost attached.
Do you offer an SLA?
Response expectations are set out in writing for business accounts. We would rather commit to specific, honest targets than advertise an uptime percentage we cannot evidence.
Can you host our email too?
Yes. Business email on your own domain, with authentication configured correctly. Many customers move website and email together so there is one provider accountable for both.
What if we outgrow it?
We will tell you before it becomes a problem, and move you to a VPS or dedicated server. Migration between our own platforms is handled without downtime.

Website and email that have to work?

Tell us what you run today. We'll move it and take responsibility for keeping it up.
